HBYC Boating Academy offers a range of Youth Programs, consisting of 4-day school holiday programs, Dinghy Sailing Squad on Sundays (term 4 & 1), and Keelboat Squads on Tuesday and Thursday.

The HBYC Dinghy Squad meets Sundays, Term 4 and Term 1.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Our Sunday Squad allows children aged 10-18 years old, not only to learn to sail, but form friendships and become part of the Club community. There are many social occasions during the year for them to interact with other children in the Club. We teach the Juniors according to the Australian Sailing Dinghy Training Scheme, which means that they not only get to 'muck around in boats,' but get a national accreditation at the same time. This is possible as HBYC is an Australian Sailing Discover Sailing Centre.
Not only the Juniors, but all of our members have the choice to obtain a nationally recognised sailing qualification. For more info see our Adult /Junior training pages.
The club has a fleet of Pacers which are the ideal training boat. Juniors have lots of fun on these little boats! The Pacers with Spinnakers have been a hit with those who have a need for speed!
