Hobsons Bay Yacht Club is now offering Junior training, In the form of the Australian Sailing OutThere Program, running Monday - Thursday 9:00 - 1:00 over the school holidays.
With an emphasis on fun with friends, this is a great introduction to sailing.

Sunday Youth Squad
The HBYC Youth Squad is meets Sundays Term 4 and Term 1
If you have a child, grandchild, niece/nephew etc. that would like to join us, please contact: manager@hbyc.org.au.
Additional Information
Our Youth Squad allows the kids not only to learn to sail but form friendships and become part of the club community. There are many social occasions during the year for them to interact with other children in the club. We teach the Juniors according to the Australian Sailing Dinghy Training Scheme, which means that they not only get to 'muck around in boats' but get a national accreditation at the same time. This is possible as HBYC is a Australian Sailing Discover Sailing Centre.
Not only the Juniors but all of our members have the choice to get some Nationally recognised sailing qualifications. For more info see our Adult or Junior training pages.
The club has a fleet of Pacers which are the ideal training boat. The Juniors have had great fun on these little boats so far. The pacers with Spinnakers have been a hit with those who have a need for speed!
