Assisting HBYC to Foster the Sport of Sailing.
The HBYC Foundation has been established to offer people and organisations an opportunity to assist in the growth and development of our Club.
The Hobsons Bay Yacht Club Foundation (HBYCF) has been established to offer people and organisations an opportunity to assist in the growth and development of our Club. It will be able to provide funding for projects through tax-deductible donations and grants.
The foundation's primary goal is to foster the sport of sailing and enhance the facilities and opportunities for members, their families and the community, ensuring HBYC is active and successful for years to come.
By establishing Projects that are approved by the Foundation and compliant with Australian Sports Foundation (ASF), The HBYCF is eligible to receive grants and donations that the Club can then use for the following projects.
A fund for enhancing facilities for boat repairs, crew members, and training areas.
For promoting the development, growth, and retention of younger members in sailing.
This fund will be used to acquire sailing assets and equipment.
Support current and future sailors with coaching, training, state-of-the-art facilities and equipment, and on/off-water support, helping them maximize their
potential and compete in local, interstate, and international sailing events.
Make sailing accessible to as many people in our community as possible.
Ensure that HBYC and the sport of sailing remain vibrant and successful in Williamstown for many years to come.
Hobsons Bay Yacht Club Foundation is dedicated to supporting the club's vision through targeted funding in critical areas. By adhering to established rules and criteria, the foundation aims to make a significant impact on the sport of sailing and the HBYC community.
